I am a fulltime minister, an author, newspaper columnist, hypnotherapist, counselor, writing instructor, and sometimes composer.

I have had 16 books published by “real” publishers and several books I have self-published. I write fiction and nonfiction, for adults and children.

I taught creative writing through the University of California at Irvine Extension Program for five years and at Cypress College in Cypress, California for 12 years.

My musical compositions range from playful music for children, to meditation music for worship purposes—and everything between.

I owned and operated a hypnotherapy clinic for 25 years and worked with hundreds of clients, using hypnosis to help them overcome various problems.

I entered the ministry in 1988 and began pastoring my first church in 1993 in Tustin, California. I now live in Kokomo, Indiana and pastor of a small church—The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the nearby community of Hobbs. Meditation is an important part of my life and my ministry, and I compose meditation music for our services.

The opinion column I write for the Kokomo Tribune appears weekly, and is generally deals with political and spiritual issues.

Other than these things, I’m retired.
